Engagment Session...Take Two!

Here are a few shots from Whitney and Matt's engagement session in Lexington.  (Early photos from Campbellsville can be seen in a previous blog.)  This couple is always fun to shoot.  Now their wedding is just a few weeks away!

Kids at Play

I'm playing Blog Catch-Up!  We've been busy with photos, and have gotten behind on our posts!  Here are a few pics of some children playing at our local arboretum. There is always something to catch the eye of both the children and the adults.  The most difficult thing about shooting there???  Keeping the children from picking the flowers!

Spring Fun

We enjoyed playing in the gardens of Ashland last week.  Children have a way of putting a whole new spin on spring time fun.  Flowers become swords and sticks are much more interesting than anything that could be found inside.  Thanks for playing with us!

Engagement in the Country

This week we enjoyed an engagement session in Campbellsville.  It was nice to be away from the "city" for a while!  We got to see a lot of Taylor County while hanging out with Matt and Whitney.  We are looking forward to spending more time with them soon when we do another engagement session for them here in Lexington.  Meanwhile, here is some of what Campbellsville had to offer...

A Beautiful Day for Engagement Photos

Finally!  This was our third try scheduling this engagement session due to uncooperative weather, a.k.a. rain. We have never had to reschedule that many times before, but I guess there is a first time for everything.  We finally got to shoot engagement photos for Katrina and Kelley on a very beautiful evening.  We even got to shoot some photos of their two sons!  We are looking forward to the wedding in July.

Even though it only takes about a week to view your photos after a session, we know people are always anxious to see them--us included!  So from time to time we will give "teasers" to help our clients endure the wait.

Here are a few photos from Saturday's engagement session.  The weather was beautiful, with just a slight chill in the air to remind us that Spring isn't quite officially here yet.

We enjoyed getting to meet the groom.  It's always nice to see the bride and groom together and excited about the upcoming wedding! We are looking forward to seeing Kristi and Jeremiah at their wedding in July!
