This was our first time shooting at this beautiful church.  What luck it was such a beautiful building, because it was so hot the wedding party didn't want to spend much time outside!  (Pushing triple digits!)  Everyone had a great time regardless and the happy couple looked stunning!

A Wedding On Sugar Beach

What a beautiful wedding!  This lucky couple got to have that dream wedding on a beach that so many of us fantasize about.  Since I was 8 months pregnant, John and one of our emergency fill-in photographers, Jared, photographed the wedding.  I hated to miss it, but I think they did a great job!  I felt like I was there while I edited the images!

Fall Revisited:Keeneland

This year I resolve to keep up with my blogging!  I am going to do some recapping to start things off right.

Check out this family session.  They are passionate about horses, so we could think of no better place to shoot than Keeneland.  They spotted this amazing field with a farm in the background and knew it was the perfect spot.  We took the opportunity to try some literal "frame within a frame" shots. 

Boys Can Dress Cute Too!

Everyone loves to dress up their baby girl, and we are no exception.  It's just 8 weeks until we can parade our own little girl around in frilly finery.  Since we have a boy too, I must admit that I think we have found some really cute outfits for him...you just have to look a little harder sometimes. 

This little Cutie is a perfect example of a boy with some good threads!  Look how adorable he is!

From Wedding Bells to Baby Booties

Each photo shoot brings it's own unique set of joys and celebrations.  We love getting to know families and being able to share a variety of special times with them.  This is one of those examples.  Last fall we were shooting their wedding.  This summer we are celebrating the addition of a beautiful baby girl into the family.  Welcome Abigail! 

A Winning Family

My local chapter of the Moms Club has been a huge blessing to me over the last couple of years.  Each year they host a fabulous luncheon just for moms and ask for door prizes to raffle. The money is given to a local charity.  This year's proceeds went to Jarrett's Joy Cart.  I was excited to see lots of tickets sold for my prize package!  This shoot reveals the lucky winner and her beautiful family.  To top it off, these photos have that extra personal touch because they were taken in the family's own back yard.  What a wonderful way to preserve this moment in time!
